Home to Jimi Hendrix and known for it's old Vaudeville history, this theater is rich with the live vibe, completely equipped with in an in-house recording studio. Under the vigilant eyes and ears of producer and recording engineer Chip Butters of buttersound.com, this piece of work features new songs (Hand in Glove, My Blues and Dancin Tree among others) and a live flavor we have never before captured on tape. Minimalistic, the instrumentation featured on this album is our blues trio with two acoustic guitars, and special guest Kurtis Parsons of the band "Rise n' Shine' on djembe and hand percussion. The CD is dedicated lovingly to our true friend Jim Matthiesen of the Herbivores known for their concerted efforts in hemp rights. The events surrounding this recording was a celebration of the release of the documentary "Plant the Seed". A film dedicated to educating the public on the industrial uses of hemp and the plight to legalize its use in industrial settings.
